Obviously, you can’t just pick up any salt and add it to your water, or fill your tank up at the beach. You need the correct salt for your tank's specific needs; this is dictated by the marine life you have chosen. All of Quantum’s aquarium salt has been scientifically formulated in a humidity-controlled environment to provide you with one of the purest, and most stable, salts available for your tank.

All of our aquarium salt products are hybrids, combining natural seawater and synthetic salt. This allows them to offer the benefits of natural seawater, with the consistency and purity of a synthetic mix, all in one! The natural seawater used to create our hybrid salts is all sourced from the pristine natural seawater located in South Australia.

After years of scientific research, we have tweaked both the element and compound concentrations to provide you with a top-quality range of salt products. Each of our four salt products has been optimized to help enhance the health and vitality of your specific marine life. Each salt has been designed for specific tank inhabitants: SPS, LPS, Mixed or FOWLR. This is done by altering the levels of calcium, alkalinity, magnesium, and potassium that the salt provides when being dosed in your tank.
