Step 5 — Bioavailable Nourishment™

Even corals with great lighting still need to eat.

Zooxanthellae — the algae living in coral tissue — supply a lot of a coral's energy through photosynthesis, but not all of it. There's a nutritional shortfall that light and water chemistry alone can't close. Step 5 fills that gap with real food: broadcast feeding, target feeding, or both.

Combine for a complete food. Bio-Enhance, Coral Cane, and Pure Phyto are designed to work together — mix 1mL Pure Phyto + 1mL Bio-Enhance per scoop of Coral Cane for a single combined feeding, or dose them separately on your own schedule. Nutrition especially matters for NPS (non-photosynthetic) corals, which get no energy from light at all and rely entirely on what you feed them.
