WHY IT MATTERS

Aragonite over calcite

Strontium is present in coral skeleton and improves calcification, helping corals build strong aragonite rather than brittle calcite — directly tied to skeletal density.

THE PROCESS

Coralline algae uptake

Strontium is also absorbed by calcareous algae such as coralline, which in turn helps naturally reduce unwanted nutrients while providing oxygen, expelling carbon dioxide, and improving pH stability.

WHO NEEDS MORE

Fast-growing SPS & coralline

Rapidly calcifying SPS corals and any system with heavy coralline algae coverage draw down strontium faster than a slow-growing LPS or FOWLR tank.

Yes — Signature Series products are built to correct a specific deficiency your ICP test identifies. Dosing without a baseline test risks overshooting the target range.

How is this different from the strontium in Aragonite B™?+

Aragonite B™ (Step 3) carries strontium alongside carbonate and buffers as part of routine CAM maintenance. This is pure, single-element strontium for correcting one specific ICP result without moving your alkalinity.

Can I use this after any ICP test, or only Quantum's?+

This product can be used after any ICP test you've purchased — it's not tied to a specific testing service. The Quantum Aqua app helps calculate your dose from the result.
