WHY IT MATTERS

Chlorophyll's key ingredient

Iron is a key constituent in the formation of chlorophyll found in zooxanthellae — the symbiotic algae living in coral tissue that power photosynthesis.

Macroalgae & nutrient export

Iron also aids macroalgae growth, which naturally reduces unwanted nutrients in the aquarium while providing oxygen, expelling carbon dioxide, and improving pH stability.
