Copper treatments are effective, but only when used exactly as directed.

WHAT IT DOES

Treats fish parasites

Maintaining copper between 0.15–0.20ppm is what makes the treatment effective — below that range it won't work, above it risks harming the fish you're treating.

CRITICAL SAFETY

Quarantine tank only

Never use this in your main aquarium or display — copper is toxic to invertebrates, corals, and any low pH/alkalinity system. Do not use on scaleless fish (sharks, rays, and similar species).

AFTER TREATMENT

A 4–8 week quarantine follows

Once the parasite is gone, keep fish quarantined for 4–8 weeks. Stop dosing Parasite Remover and use Bio-Active Carbon™ with frequent water changes to strip copper from the treatment tank before reintroducing fish to your main system.

Dosing & monitoring

Test at least twice daily for copper, ammonia/ammonium, nitrate, nitrite, alkalinity and pH throughout treatment.
