Reef Essential® Dual Dip™

Before coral enters your system, protection matters.

Dual Dipâ„¢ acts as both:

  • A preventative pretreatment for new corals
  • A recovery dip for stressed or affected corals

It targets:

✔ Flatworms
✔ Bristle worms
✔ Nudibranchs
✔ Tissue necrosis
✔ Bacterial infections

By dipping before introduction, you dramatically reduce the risk of parasite outbreaks and system-wide stress.


How to Use Dual Dipâ„¢

  • Add directly to a dipping container using aquarium water
  • Dissolve completely before adding corals
  • Fully submerge for no longer than 5 minutes
  • Keep water circulating gently
  • Do NOT add to main aquarium
  • Dispose of solution after use

Corals can be placed directly into the display after dipping. No rinse required.

🌊 Phase 2 – Feed & Strengthen

Once corals are protected, structured feeding builds resilience, coloration, and growth.

This kit recreates the layered nutrition found on natural reefs.

Recommended Feeding Mix (Per Session)

  • scoop Coral Cane®
  • 3mL Pure Phytoâ„¢
  • 1mL Bio-Enhanceâ„¢
  • 4mL aquarium water

Mix thoroughly before application.

Target Feeding (Maximum Absorption)

  1. Turn off return and circulation pumps
  2. Spot feed directly onto coral polyps
  3. Allow 10–15 minutes for feeding
  4. Restart pumps

Enhances polyp extension and nutrient absorption time.

Broadcast Feeding (System-Wide Support)

Add prepared mixture into high flow areas to create a neutrally buoyant nutrient cloud.

Feed 1–3 times weekly depending on stocking level.
