Fights the nightly pH drop while adding calcium.
Bio-Kalkwasser™ provides hydroxide, calcium, and non-nitrogenous bioavailable energy — raising pH and converting excess CO₂ into calcium carbonate. It's a particularly effective way to counter the natural pH dip that happens at night when photosynthesis stops.
Two problems solved with one dose
Your tank's pH naturally drops overnight once photosynthesis stops and CO₂ builds up. Low pH slows coral growth and makes the water more acidic; high pH from the opposite extreme causes excess alkalinity and algae growth. Bio-Kalkwasser's calcium hydroxide raises pH back up while simultaneously converting that excess CO₂ into calcium carbonate — feeding your calcium supply and your aragonite structure at the same time.
Because it works on both pH and calcium together, it's typically dosed as a nighttime top-up alongside your regular Aragonite A/B/C routine, not as a replacement for it.
How it's mixed and dosed
This isn't a straight liquid dose — it needs to be mixed and handled carefully.

Mix with RODI
Mix the required amount with RODI water and stir thoroughly to dissolve before dosing.
Only the clear middle layer
Drip in only the supernatant — the clear solution on top. Keep undissolved white material out of the tank.
Minimize air contact
Limiting air exposure while mixing reduces the amount of undissolved particulate that forms.
Don't exceed 18 ppm/night
Combined with your existing calcium dosing, stay under 18 ppm of calcium from this product per night.
Monitor while dosing
Keep an eye on pH, alkalinity, and calcium while using — all three move together with this product.
