A routine tap-water conditioner most of the time — an emergency detox when things go wrong.
Renders tap water safe
Chlorine and chloramine are common in tap water; ammonia, nitrite and nitrate build up from fish waste and organic decay. This detoxifies all of them before they reach your tank.
Ammonia & nitrite spikes
An inhabitant death, a pH swing, or another major parameter shift can spike toxic ammonia or nitrite fast — the emergency dose can buy you time to fix the underlying cause.
Dilute, then add to high flow
Dilute with aquarium water first for direct dosing, or add slowly while mixing into your water-change container.
Dosing
Cannot be used on a dosing pump — dose manually.
