Weekly community winners (most likes) get 50% off a Coral Cane purchase and advance to the finals for $250 / $100 / $50 gift cards. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited.

1. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and D.C., 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority in their state of residence) at time of entry. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited by law. Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of Quantum USA and its affiliates, and members of their immediate families/households, are not eligible.

2. How to Enter

  • Create a photo or video showing your tank’s feeding response or growth while using best reefing practices. Purchase of Coral Cane is not required to enter.
  • During the Entry Period, post your content on a participating platform (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts) according to that platform’s rules.
  • Tag: @QuantumUSA and include #CoralCaneChallenge and #FeedTheRevolution in your caption.
  • Follow the instructions in our weekly Official Weekly Post (linked from CoralCane.com), and submit your entry as a comment/reply under that post for voting.

Compliance: Entries must follow platform community guidelines and may not contain unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.

3. Entry Period

Entries accepted from [Start Date] [Time Zone] through [End Date] [Time Zone]. Weekly periods run from [Weekly Start Day/Time] to [Weekly End Day/Time]. Finalists will be posted during the last two weeks; see the Challenge Hub for weekly and finals cutoff times.

4. Prizes

Prizes cannot be substituted or transferred except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Winners are responsible for any taxes and fees.

5. Winner Selection

Community-Voted: All winners are chosen by the reefing community based on post engagement (“likes”) on Quantum USA’s official challenge posts.

Weekly Winners (Qualifiers)

  • Each week, Quantum USA publishes an Official Weekly Post announcing that week’s theme (e.g., “Show your feeding response” or “Show off your coral’s growth”).
  • Participants must comment their photo or video under that week’s official post (or reply per platform norms), tag @QuantumUSA, and use the hashtag #CoralCaneChallenge.
  • At the weekly cutoff, the entry with the most likes on the Official Weekly Post wins a 50% off coupon for one Coral Cane purchase.
  • Weekly Winners are automatically entered into the Grand Prize Finals.

Grand Prize Finals

  • During the final two weeks of the challenge, all Weekly Winners will be featured in an Official Finals Post.
  • The community will vote again by liking their favorite entries.
  • Final placement is determined by total likes at the finals cutoff:

    • 🥈 2nd Place: $100 Gift Card
    • 🥉 3rd Place: $50 Gift Card

Counting, Platforms & Limits

  • Likes are counted only on Quantum USA’s official posts (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).
  • If finalists appear on multiple official platforms, total likes across platforms are aggregated at cutoff.
  • Limit: one (1) entry per person/account per week. Editing or deleting your entry may reset engagement counts.

Fair Play, Ties & Verification

  • No bots, paid likes, or engagement groups. Suspected manipulation or violation of platform terms may result in disqualification.
  • Entrant accounts must be public at the time of counting to verify eligibility.
  • Ties: the entry that first reached the final like total (as evidenced by platform timestamps available to Sponsor) will be deemed the winner.
  • Potential winners may be required to complete eligibility and identity verification within 5 business days of notice.

6. General Conditions

  • By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding.
  • Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Challenge if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Challenge, as determined by Sponsor.
  • Sponsor may disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry/voting process, acting in violation of these Rules, or acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

7. Content Rights & Publicity

By submitting an entry, you represent that you own or have the necessary rights to your content. You grant Sponsor a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display your entry (with credit) in connection with the Challenge, its promotion, and Sponsor’s products/services in any media. Where permitted by law, participation constitutes permission for Sponsor to use winner’s name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without further compensation.

8. Privacy

Information collected is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. Entries submitted via email for AMOE will be used solely for administration of the Challenge unless you opt in to marketing communications.

9. Release & Limitation of Liability

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates from any claim or liability arising from participation or receipt/use of any prize. Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube are not sponsors of this Challenge and are released from all liability related to it.

10. Miscellaneous

  • Governing Law: Florida law governs, without regard to conflict of laws. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
  • Taxes: Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes. A completed IRS Form W-9 may be required for prizes ≥ $600 total value.
  • Severability: If any provision is found invalid, the remainder shall be enforced to the fullest extent permitted.
  • Void where prohibited.
