Water Primer™ Aquarium Water Conditioner
Quantum’s aquarium Water Primer™ is a highly valuable tool for hobbyists of all levels to have on hand. This aquarium water conditioner is designed to remove and detoxify troublesome ammonia, chlorine, chloramine, nitrite, nitrate and heavy metals that can cause harm to your aquarium, and its inhabitants.
These harmful elements are unfortunately unavoidable when it comes to maintaining and managing your saltwater aquarium. Chlorine and chloramine are present in tap water, and easily introduced if you are not careful when you are doing water changes. Ammonia, nitrite and nitrate are by-products from fish waste and organic decay, commonly caused by an excess of uneaten food. Build-ups of these elements can lead to high concentrations, which can cause harm and even death to your aquarium's inhabitants.
Our Water Primer allows you to safely use tap water in your saltwater and freshwater aquarium and can potentially save your aquarium from an ammonia or nitrite spike. Purple, red or bleeding gills, red streaking on the fins and body, gasping at the water's surface, rapid gill movement, and torn and jagged fins are all signs of high ammonia and nitrite levels in your aquarium. If you notice these signs, help resolve the issue with our Water Primer aquarium water conditioner and avoid a complete wipeout of your tank’s inhabitants.

Water Primer can be used as an aquarium water conditioner in a variety of environments, making it a versatile product for all types of aquarium hobbyists. Not only can it be used in saltwater setups, it can also be used in the alternative environments listed below:
